Ultrafast, reliable fibre broadband

Full Fibre, uses fibre all the way to your home. No copper cables. This is the the UK's most reliable broadband technology, with speeds up to 25x faster than our standard fibre

Speeds and connection vary massively 

FTTC 

 

Fibre to the Cabinet

This is the most common type of fibre broadband, where the network uses fibre optic wires to the street cabinet and then copper phone line to your home.

Distance from the local Street Cabinet can massively affect your speeds. Runs through the BT phone line network and requires BT line rental cost.

Average speeds 35Mbps to 66Mbps

SOGEA is a service the same as FTTC but without the line rental cost.

ADSL     

Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line

It is a broadband connection that works through the copper wires of existing phone lines and is mainly used for home broadband and within small businesses. Runs through the BT phone line network and requires BT line rental cost.

Average speeds 10Mbps -11Mbps

This service will no longer be available by the end of 2025.
